Sunflower Sunset, Part II

A while back I posted a similar picture of this sunflower field, but this shot has a wider perspective.  If you look closely, you can see a few people inside the field taking pictures of their own.

  1. I love those sunflowers. Reminds me of southern France.

  2. The sky is fantastic in this image, beautiful and wild.

  3. Hi Jeb – great photos and advice. I feel honored that you decided to follow me at Beauty Along the Road.

    1. Thanks very much…I really appreciate it!

  4. Helo Mr. Buchman, The sunflower photo is great. I live in Maryland, and would like to know the location of this sunflower field. Please give some direction and or information how to get to this place. Thank you.

    1. Chun,

To get to this field, you take Jarrettsville Pike north. After about 4 or 5 miles driving north of the Sweet Air intersection in Jacksonville, you will reach a Royal Farms Gas Station at the Hess road intersection. The field is directly across the road from the Royal Farms gas station.

This field does not grow sunflowers every year, and when they do grow them, it is usually in August/September.

      Hope this helps…
